Rates:
I work a bit differently from other editing services. Most places charge between .02 and .05 per word. For most writers getting their feet wet, it doesn't behoove them to spend $100 on a short story that will yield an acceptance rate of $25. (A 3,000 word story at .05 center per word would cost $150! There are only a handful of publications that pay such rates.) Therefore, I have flat rates for different word ranges. You will find that these rates are significantly less than most other professional editing services. I do this as both incentive to the writer, and out of love for the craft.- Up to 3,000 words = $25
- 3,000 to 6,000 words = $35
- 6,000-10,000 words = $50
- 10,000-20,000 = $65
- 20,000-40,000 = $125
- 40,000=70,000 = $225
- 70,000=100,000 = $350

So you can be sure that all your personal contact details and financial information (e.g. credit card numbers and associated expiry dates) will be protected during the payment process. Please note that PayPal may ask you to enroll for an Expanded Use Number ( EUN ). Processing of the EUN may take up to 3-4 business days.Personal Check: Personal checks must clear before the manuscript is sent back.

Will my manuscript be accepted for publication after I use your services?Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee your story will get accepted anywhere. Editors choose stories for several reasons, many of which are subjective. I know because I do it everyday. I can only guarantee that your manuscript will have a better chance than those that are unedited.
What if I disagree with your edits?
I cannot refund money based on differences of opinion. The Track Changes function allows you to keep or reject any edits I make. You may choose to keep some but not others, or use them as a suggestion for your own change.
Will you respect my voice?
Whether you're James Joyce, Raymond Chandler, Charles Frazier or Jack Ketchum, an author's voice is what makes him stand out. My edits will strive to retain your personal style, and help you with it where applicable.What if your edits call for me to make revisions? Is there a charge for you to edit my new changes?
Revision edits will be based on a page rate. I will quote you depending on the pages and amount of work. Don't worry, as I stated above my rates will be very friendly and you are not obligated to retain my service.
